For this particular daily Chinese phrase, are both floor standing air-conditioner and wall air-conditioner called “空调” in Chinese?

In Chinese, we often use the daily Chinese word “空调” to refer to both floor standing air-conditioner and wall air-conditioner. But when we go to buy an air-conditioner, we should make it clear which kind we want to buy, “立式空调(lì shì kōng tiáo)” or “壁挂式空调 (bì guà shì kōng tiáo).”

I know another daily Chinese word “中央空调, ” the Chinese pinyin is zhōng yāng kōng tiáo., which means central air-conditioner.”
