This nursery rhyme "小白兔 (xiǎobáitù) Little White Rabbits" has been passed on for generations. It's not clear who wrote it and when it was written, but every child in China can sing it! Let's watch the video:

Ài chī luóbo ài chī cài,

Love to eat carrots and greens,

I know in English there are many names for carrots, such as “radish” and “carrot”. Any there other Chinese characters for carrots?.

Yes, there are. In Chinese characters, we have “白萝卜(ternip)” and “红萝卜carrot.”

I once heard a Chinese saying about the Chinese characters萝卜: “萝卜青菜，各有所爱.” Does it mean “One man’s meat is another man’s poison”?
